Anju Saigal
Founder Director

Anju is the Founder-Director of CEQUE, with over 25 years shaping public education in India and abroad. She has led large-scale initiatives at Pratham and ICICI Foundation and has taught and researched at Harvard and Simmons College. Holding a Master’s in Social Work from TISS and a Doctorate in Education from Harvard, Anju combines academic insight with a passion for equity in schools.

Mitesh Thakkar
Director

Mitesh advises CEQUE on business development and operations. He is the founder of Arthify Inc. and architect of Fieldata.org, a mobile data platform supporting research organisations across Asia and Africa. His career has spanned the World Bank, UNDP, SDSN, and education consultancies in Vietnam and Afghanistan. With an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s in Education from Harvard, he blends global expertise with an eye for local impact.

Pushkaraj Gumaste
Board Member

Pushkaraj is Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at Barclays, with nearly 30 years in banking. He previously co-headed Barclays India’s Investment Banking franchise. An engineer by training, he is passionate about applying financial acumen to enable social change. He is a fitness enthusiast and loves to run for a good cause.
